By signing up as a member and renting Gear, you agree to these Rentee Expectations
and Terms in addition to any other applicable documents, including Renter Expectations
and Terms (if applicable), Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy. The following Rentee
Expectations and Terms, in addition to the Rentee Expectations and Rentee Terms,
Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy govern your access to and use of
Rentzzz.com, including any content, functionality, and services offered
on or through Rentzzz.com, whether as a guest
or a registered user. Please read the following carefully before you rent Gear as
an Rentee.
Rentee Expectations
- Keep rented Gear in well-maintained condition (keep it clean with no broken parts).Rented
Gear should be kept fully functional, just like it was when you got it from the
Renter.
- The Gear you are renting should be used by you and in your possession. If you are
renting Gear for someone else, please contact us.
- You should not alter your Gear in a way that makes it inoperable or its value unassessable
(so that it can be covered by an insurance policy).
- You should not use rented Gear in a way that makes it dangerous to use, or generally
a liability concern.
Operability and Safety
The Rentee is responsible for using the rented Gear in the manner it was designed
to be used by manufacturer. The Rentee should not use the Gear in a way that may
interfere with the operability of the Gear or the safe operation of the Gear.
Cleanliness
The Rentee should use the rented Gear in a way that maintains the cleanliness and
condition of the Gear. Rentzzz may determine at its' sole discretion whether the
rented Gear is not maintained well enough by the Rentee during the Rental Period
and may charge a Rentee for repairs and cleaning due to a Renter’s complaint and
Rentzzz’s own investigation. In the event that Rentzzz cancels an Rentee’s active
Rental, Rentzzz reserves the right to also not refund any Rental payment made by
the Rentee for the Gear.
On Time Rentals
If a Rentee requests a Listing for a Rental Period, and the Renter accepts the request,
the Rentee should be available to meet the Renter on-time, based on the Rental Period
that was accepted by the Renter or proposed by the Renter and accepted by the Rentee.
Valuables and Property
Rentees should remove all personal property that is not included in the Rental Listing
before returning the rented Gear to the Renter.
Eligibility
Although it is very rare, Rentzzz may suspend or revoke a Rentee’s eligibility to
use Rentzzz’s services at any time for any reason, at Rentzzz's sole discretion.
In the event that Rentzzz suspends or revokes a Rentee, Rentzzz reserves the right
to suspend or cancel any reserved or active Rentals and cancel any Rental payments.
Verifying Insurance Coverage
As an Rentee, it is your responsibility to not accept the transfer an Renter's Gear
to you, unless you have verified that you have received a confirmation email and
verified that you have has purchased and/or provided insurance coverage (whether
it be Short Term Insurance, VIP Insurance, or your own insurance policy) or purchased
a Rentzzz Damage Waiver, for the Gear.
Damage
If, as a Rentee, you notice that the rented Gear was damaged during a Rental, you
must contact Rentzzz immediately and report the damage.
Theft
If, as a Rentee, you believe that the Renter’s Gear was stolen during a Rental, you
must contact Rentzzz immediately. Rentzzz is not liable for a member’s deceptive
or fraudulent acts and the theft of Gear, but we will completely cooperate with
the investigation and produce information about the incident and parties involved,
working with law enforcement and any insurance companies involved
Cancellation
A Rentee may cancel a Rental request at their discretion. However, if an Rentee
must cancel a Rental request that they confirmed, they must notify the Renter as
soon as possible. Significant or multiple cancellations may affect a Rentee's ability
to rent Gear in the future, if Rentzzz believes that the cancellation(s) has a negative
effect on the Renter and the Rentzzz community.
Late Returns and No Shows
If, as a Rentee, you are late returning Gear, at an agreed upon date and time with
the Renter or as specified on the Rental transaction, you may be subject to and agree
to pay any late fees to the Renter of the Gear as determined by the Renter. The maximum
late charge per day will be the amount of a one day rental for the Rental listing.
Rentzzz will charge these fees to your rental payment card on file, to be paid to
the Renter or may collect it using alternative billing methods. Renters may also leave
a negative review for the Rentee.
If, as a Rentee, you fail to show up for a scheduled Rental Meeting, the Renter may
report it to Rentzzz and leave a negative review for the Rentee. Significant or
multiple no shows may affect a Rentee's ability to rent Gear in the future, if Rentzzz
believes that the no show(s) has a negative effect on the Renter and the Rentzzz
community.
Accurate Member Profile
A Member, whether an Renter or Rentee, must provide a completely accurate Member
Profile. Rentzzz may determine at its' sole discretion whether the information on
the Member’s Profile is not accurate, and may suspend the Member until the completion
of Rentzzz’s investigation and conversation with the Member to resolve the issue.
In the event that Rentzzz suspends a Member, Rentzzz reserves the right to suspend
or cancel any reserved or active Rentals and cancel any Rental payments.
Insurance
Renters and Rentees are also bound by any and all applicable terms and policies of
any insurance providers involved in the transaction. Rentzzz recommends that you
carefully read and understand any insurance policy documents which may apply to
a rental.
